Last night, many Women’s Club members gathered at the Pub to say “hello” to Susan Mitchell, who is in the area for a short visit, taking a break from her full-time RVing adventures.
Susan has been a long-time Women’s Club member who served as our treasurer and mentor for so many years before she made the decision to travel the United States with her daughter Jenn in their Airstream travel trailer. She shared her travels and future destinations. We have all been following their adventures through Facebook and The Magnolia News.
There was a lot of reminiscing about her time in the ‘hood and much laughter among old friends. We are so lucky to be just a phone call away or a text away when we need her assistance, and more importantly, we are so glad she still continues to be our mentor. It was a great turnout, just like old times. See you, Susan, on your next go-around.
