Ringing the Bell for a Good Cause

Today, Women’s Club members Lorna Broughton and Marlene Abbate volunteered as bell ringers for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle drive at the local Winn Dixie in Green Cove Springs.  This annual bell-ringing tradition by the charity organization raises money from donations to their red kettles to help families in need throughout the community, especially during

Tad’s Toys Christmas Party

On Saturday, December 9, Donna Habing, Vice President of the Women’s Club, attended a Christmas party at Orange Park Elementary School for Tad’s Toys, a local Christmas charity.  The charity was created by Kathy Lawrence, project manager of the Multi Agency Network for Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (SEDNET), which serves Clay, Duval, and Nassau counties.
