From Hand and Foot to Hand, Knee and Foot

Around 2017 or 2018, the Hand and Foot (HF) card game used to be held in the Clubhouse Crystal Dining Room. The game morphed into Hand, Knee and Foot (HKF) as time went by and the ladies learned the game. Susan Mitchell and Marsha Parker were two of the early game coordinators.  It was a nice setting and ladies played cards and had lunch in the same room.

For various reasons, HKF moved to the parlor around 2022. Despite some post-COVID struggles getting the group back together, today Linda Thill has managed to coordinate the parlor game held the first Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. The ladies play a bit, stop for lunch in the pub, and then play again. Linda also coordinates a Samba game on the third Tuesday of each month. Both of these card games are Club sponsored. Whenever these ladies play, it is a day of meeting old friends, new friends, fun, laughter and food!.

Doesn’t get any better than this.
