It has been a busy few weeks for Women’s Club members. We are winding down our “year” and next Wednesday, May 10, we will install our new officers for 2023-24 and say “thank you” to the outgoing officers. This is a fun event, as members enjoy lunch and fellowship and review the past year.
We are also winding down our Maggie’s Meals program, that provides weekend food for students at Charles E. Bennett Elementary. Our Club has been packing meals since 2012 and will now be supporting the CEB Pantry that is in place at the school. Many, many thanks to Lorna Broughton and Suzanne Foster who headed up the program this year. And many thanks to all our members who volunteered, and still do, every week to help feed the students.
