If you attended the Holiday luncheon at Sacred Heart on December 11, you know what I mean when I say we had a fun time! Got to see some of the ladies we don’t see often and chat with those who we see all of the time. A thank you to the holiday lunch committee for a day well-planned. The tables were festively decorated. Lunch included chicken, ham and pork plus a wide variety of delicious side dishes shared by members. Can’t forget the desserts that were super yummy. Entertainment included a stop-by from Santa, a Christmas word scramble, Christmas songs and a hilarious Partridge in a Pear Tree game that brought out the best of everyone. The day ended with the Food Pantry van picking up all of the donated food and other items to support local Green Cove Springs residents in need. The event closed out another successful year for the Magnolia Point Women’s Club.
