The Red Hats Hotties are at it again. Donna Habing was this month’s host and found a chilling event for the ladies. On October 10th, the Clay County Clerk of Court’s Historical Archives Division staff dug up some true crime stories that made one think about life 100 years ago. The chills and thrills were presented by the Ridgeview High School Drama students.
The Hotties, while dodging rain showers, gathered for an interesting presentation. They were treated to an historical video, a tour of the museum, the caboose, and old jail where the Hotties claimed that the inmates were trying to terrorize them with very loud and scary sounds. A short play with the high schoolers took the group through a murder trial by jury and a ghost floating around the court. Donna treated everyone to popcorn and cookies to nibble as the tour progressed. The Hotties had many options to donate and buy local memorabilia. Yet another memorable (and fun) outing going down in the annals of the Red Hat Hotties!
