A group of members from the Women’s Club, along with their guests, attended the “Sound of Freedom” on Monday, July 17, at the AMC in Fleming Island. After the movie, the group met for discussion and refreshments at The Corner Pocket in Green Cove Springs. The movie, starring Jim Caviezel, is based on the true story of a retired Department of Homeland Security agent trying to rescue children from sex traffickers. Those attending included organizer Marlene Jacobs, Cissy Burnette and her guest, Bobbe Marion and her guest, Mikie Porfidio, Joann Vann, and Jeanne and Don Eisenstein.
