On July 19, Amanda Strickland, the new principal at Charles E. Bennett Elementary in Green Cove Springs, met with Suzanne Foster, the Women’s Club Director of Schools, and Linda Thill and Pam Young, our CEB liaisons. All felt the meeting was very productive. Ms. Strickland has big plans for CEB and is making many changes, and has suggested changes to the CEB Pantry which the Women’s Club helps sponsor.
Superintendent David Broskie has tasked her to make CEB the “Heart of the Community.” Ms. Strickland was a former teacher at CEB, as well.
