Dicey Dolls Having Fun Again

The Dicey Dolls Bunco group continue to have fun each month.  Recently, they all wore their green and celebrated St. Patrick’s Day.  Marlene Jacobs took home the top prize with the most wins and Marlene Abbate had the most losses, and yes, Marlene does get money for being a “loser”!  Joanne LaBeouf also took home some “greens” with the most buncos for the evening.

Bunco is a fun, no skills needed, game where a table of 4 players take turns rolling 3 dice.  A bunco is 3 of a kind, and the game starts out with a player needing to get 3 1’s, 3 2’s, 3 4’s, etc., so on down the scoresheet until 6, then start over at 1 for the second round.    Points are scored for every bunco – depending on the dice number being played, and for 3 of a kind – 3 of a kind other than the number being played.   The object of the game is to get 21 points, and then that game ends, and the players move.  However, the game comes to an abrupt halt if players at the designated “head table” roll a bunco.

Bunco is a fast paced game and there are several groups throughout Magnolia Point that play monthly.
