In addition to the Club-sponsored card games of Hand Knee and Foot, aka HKF, and Samba, many members play both games in private groups. One such unique group started by member Marlene Jacobs is called the Stonebriar Sharkettes. The Sharkettes originally played HKF but now play Samba. The group had 9 members who all resided on Stonebriar, but only 4 members remain – Marlene, Diane Gove, Marsha Zupan and Ann Burden. Gail Gartin is the group’s substitute.
